Named after Dudley S. Blossom, president of the Cleveland Orchestra from 1936 to 1938, the Blossom Music Center has hosted some of the best known names in popular and classical music, including Leonard Berstein, John Williams, Jimmy Buffett, Chicago, the Doobie Brothers, Pink Floyd, James Taylor, Journey and Santana. It is also the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra.
The facility sits on 800 acres of woods inside the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, approximately 10 miles north of Akron and 33 miles south of Cleveland.
